Precision Dosage for Optimal Results

GO2™ dosage requirements vary depending on water conditions and contamination levels. For general disinfection, a residual concentration of up to 5 ppm is typically sufficient. In odor control applications, particularly for sulfides, a minimum of 5.2 ppm of GO2™ effectively oxidizes 1 ppm of sulfide within a pH range of 5–9. For phenol destruction, GO2™ remains highly effective across pH levels—with 1.5 ppm oxidizing 1 ppm phenol below pH 8, and 3.3 ppm needed above pH 10.


Effective Odor and Contaminant Control

As part of our wastewater treatment service, GO2™ addresses common odor and contaminant issues without creating undesirable by-products. It effectively oxidizes sulfides without forming colloidal sulfur and can also neutralize phenols, cyanides, iron, and manganese compounds. This results in cleaner effluent and better compliance with environmental standards.

Safe and Simple Application

GO2™ is generated by combining two components in tap water to produce a 3% chlorine dioxide solution. The solution should be dosed into the system below the water level to avoid volatilization. To ensure accurate application, residual chlorine dioxide levels should be measured using validated methods, such as the DPD-Glycine or Amperometric Method II, as outlined in the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater.
